10 Must-Watch Movies Of November 2025

It's the start of another month, and as is the norm over here, we have a list of the top must-watch movies of November 2025 for you. Drum rolls, and here are a couple of titles you should consider catching at your local movie theater or your favorite streaming service.

Frankenstein

Halloween, my all-time favorite holiday, just wrapped up, and I'm thankful to Netflix for lining up a rendition of yet another one of my favorites, " Frankenstein." Guillermo del Toro, who is also behind another one of my favorites, "The Shape of Water," adapts Mary Shelley's well-known novel. Oscar Isaac takes the lead as the mad scientist who creates the title character, portrayed by Jacob Elordi.

Sarah's Oil

"Sarah's Oil" is a biographical film worth adding to your watch list. The story draws from Tonya Bolden's 2014 publication "Searching for Sarah Rector: The Richest Black Girl in America." Zachary Levi, who starred in the comedy series "Chuck," Naya Desir-Johnson, Soneque Martin-Green, best known for her role in "Star Trek: Discovery," and Garret Dillahunt, who you might recall from "Raising Hope," star in the film.

Materialists

Buckle up if you are a lover of romance movies, because the "Materialists" promises to keep you glued to your screen. Chris Evans ("Captain America: The First Avenger" 2011), Dakota Johnson ("Fifty Shades" films 2015-2018), and Pedro Pascal ("Narcos" 2015-2017) headline the tale about a matchmaker entangled in a love triangle. 

Fantastic Four: The First Steps

Marvel Comics fans have something to look forward to: "Fantastic Four: The First Steps." The superhero movie introduces us to the "First Family" as they are forced to balance life and their different strengths. Pedro Pascal ("Game of Thrones" 2014), Vanessa Kirby ("The Crown" 2016-2017), Ebojn Moss-Bacharach ("The Bear" 2022-date), Joseph Quinn ("Stranger Things" 2022), Julia Garner ("Ozark" 2017-2022), and several other well-known names star in the film.

Nuremberg

Russell Crowe ("Gladiator" 2000), Rami Malek ("Mr. Robot" 2015-2019), John Slattery ("Mad Men" 2007-2015), Colin Hanks ("Fargo" 2014-2015), and Leo Woodall ("The White Lotus" 2022) star in the historical drama film. Crowe portrays Hermann Goring, who stands trial during the Nuremberg trials. 

Predator: Badlands

Dan Trachtenberg, who made his directorial debut with "10 Cloverfield Lane" (2016), returns to the director's seat with "Predator: Badlands." The sci-fi action film is the sixth in the "Predator" franchise, and it stars Elle Fanning ("Super 8" 2011)  and Dimitrius Schuster-Koloamatangi ("Red White & Brass" 2023. 

 The Running Man

If you are up for a dystopian action thriller, be on the lookout for "The Running Man." Edgar Wright co-wrote and directed the film, which is based on Stephen King's 1982 novel. It's the second screen adaptation of the novel, told by a cast including Glen Powell ("The Expendables 3" 2014), William H. Macy ("Shameless" 2011-2021), Michael Cera ("Superbad" 2007), and Emilia Jones ("Locke & Key" 2020-2022). 

The Thing with Feathers

British drama film fans also have a film lined up: "The Thing with Feathers." Directed and written by Dylan Cumberbatch, it is a screen adaptation of Max Porter's "Grief is the Thing with Feathers." Benedict Cumberbatch ("Doctor Strange" 2016) takes the lead, alongside Vinette Robinson ("Boiling Point" 2021) and Leo Bill ("The Living and the Dead" 2006).

Hamnet

"A rose by any other name..." Shakespeare lovers assemble, because we have a full feature film to look out for. "Hamnet" casts a spotlight on the famed poet, telling the story of his relationship with his wife Agnes. Jessie Buckley ("Taboo" 2017) portrays Agnes Shakespeare, while Paul Mescal ("Normal People" 2020) embodies William Shakespeare. 

Zootopia 2

"Zootropolis 2," aka "Zootopia 2," continues the buddy cop comedy this November. Byron Howard and Jared Bush directed the Walt Disney Animation Studios film. Idris Elba ("The Harder They Fall" 2021), Shakira (musician), Ginnifer Goodwin ("Once Upon a Time" 2011-2018), and Jason Bateman ("Ozark" 2017-2022) reprise their roles, joined by Ke Huy Quan ("Indiana Jones and the Temple of Doom" 1984), David Strathairn ("Nightmare Alley" 2021), Quinta Brunson "Abbot Elementary" 2021-date), Andy Samberg ("Brooklyn Nine-Nine"), and Patrick Warburton ("A Series of Unfortunate Events" 2017-2019).
